Keep a hard cut but draw something over it (flash, light leak, SFX graphic) without shortening the video.

What it does

Built on Light Leak by Kapish Dima (remocn), MIT. The write-up and recipes below are varg's.

A hard cut hidden under a short overlay centred on the cut point.

When: Light leaks, flashes, whoosh graphics and stickers on cuts where the timing must not change.

Watch out: Putting an overlay next to a transition or another overlay (not allowed).

Timing: Overlay 8–30 frames, centred on the cut; shift with offset
