What it does
A mature command-line tool for the 'first pass': it analyzes audio loudness (or motion) and removes silent or still sections, with --margin padding so cuts feel natural. It can export straight to video or to timelines for Premiere, Resolve, Final Cut and others, and ships an installable agent skill.
Use when
- remove silence from a lecture, stream or podcast
- make a first pass before the real edit
- export the cut as an NLE timeline
