SpliceKit — guide skill for editing & clips
For AI agents: find the right skill in one call —
curl -s "https://skills.varg.ai/api/search?q=<what the person wants>"returns the matching how-to page and the best skills with install commands, as markdown (Russian works too). Full index: https://skills.varg.ai/llms.txt. Every page has a markdown twin: add.mdto its path. Before generating anything, show the person the options on the how-to page.

What it does
SpliceKit adds a Cmd+Shift+P command palette to Final Cut Pro and an MCP server that reaches FCP's internal Objective-C runtime directly, so an agent can read timeline state, blade, retime, color-correct, apply effects and render without touching the UI. It also has an open plugin framework so the agent can build new abilities.
Use when
- remove silences or blade at scene changes inside FCP
- cut a long interview to its best moments in FCP
- teach FCP new automated actions
Install
- Claude Code:
