Plain-Sight Explainer — workflow skill for explainers
For AI agents: find the right skill in one call —
curl -s "https://skills.varg.ai/api/search?q=<what the person wants>"returns the matching use case and the best skills with install commands, as markdown (Russian works too). Full index: https://skills.varg.ai/llms.txt. Every page has a markdown twin: add.mdto its path. Before generating anything, show the person the options on the use-case page.

What it does
A gateway workflow for collage-style explainers about something viewers see daily but never looked at, or a storyline mined from documents and links you supply: topic filter or source mining, script, a static design pass on real assets, voiceover timing, build, then numeric QC. It uses a Vox-inspired grammar (measured palette, Archivo Black headlines, a yellow-circle carrier, zoom-isolation cuts) with no Vox affiliation, plus two scripts that stamp and verify transition seams in headless Chrome. Voiceover defaults to local npx hyperframes tts, a hosted TTS or transcription API is used only after you approve it; imported by HeyGen's James Russo (community tier).
Use when
- A plain-sight explainer: why is X everywhere?
- A Vox-style history of an everyday object
- Turn a document or link into a 60–90 s explainer
Not for
- Brand-faithful product launch films (use HyperFrames)
- Using Vox logos or implying Vox made it

Used for
- Faceless YouTube / TikTok video: A narrated short or long video with no presenter: script, voiceover, visuals, captions, music.
- Explainer video: A narrated explainer about a product, a topic or a document, with motion graphics or AI visuals.
More explainers skills
- HyperFrames: Turn HTML, CSS and seekable animation into deterministic MP4s: launch films, explainers, captions, title cards.
- HyperFrames Slideshow: Build a live, navigable deck with fragment reveals, branching hotspots and presenter notes instead of an MP4.
- Remotion Create: Scaffold a new Remotion project and lay the video out as clips or scenes before writing any frames.
- Remotion Maps: Animate maps in Remotion: static maps, Mapbox, MapLibre, MapTiler and CesiumJS 3D flyovers.
- Higgsfield Video Explainer: Turn a topic or document into a narrated, stylized explainer assembled from 10-second voiced blocks.
- Explainer Video Guide: Plan explainer videos end to end: script formulas, pacing, scene planning, voiceover and assembly.
