# Original LUT Pack — style skill for color grading & LUTs

> **For AI agents:** find the right skill in one call — `curl -s "https://skills.varg.ai/api/search?q=<what the person wants>"` returns the matching use case and the best skills with install commands, as markdown (Russian works too). Full index: https://skills.varg.ai/llms.txt. Every page has a markdown twin: add `.md` to its path. Before generating anything, show the person the options on the use-case page.

varg-baked .cube looks plus link-only vendor LUT pages — every file with its license on record.

## What it does

A ref pack for color finishing. The creative looks are baked by varg from documented ffmpeg filter chains (`haldclutsrc` → `curves` / `colorbalance` / `eq` → Hald CLUT → .cube), so they are original and carry a license record per file; technical transforms point to the BSD-3-Clause ACES OpenColorIO config, and camera-vendor conversion LUTs stay link-only. Draft until the five starter looks are baked, hashed (sha256) and hosted on s3.varg.ai.

## Use when

- A grade needs a LUT file rather than prompt words
- Applying one look across clips from several models

## Not for

- Redistributing camera-vendor or paid LUTs
- LUT packs whose license or provenance is unclear

## Install

Not published as a standalone skill yet. Source: https://github.com/vargHQ/skills

**Models it drives:** ffmpeg

## Example output

https://skills.varg.ai/previews/craft-lut-pack.mp4 — Split screen, no model run: left the untouched film, right the varg-baked print-film v1 .cube at 100% (ffmpeg lut3d, tetrahedral). The LUT is original: haldclutsrc=level=8 -> curves (lifted blacks 0->0.10, highlights rolled to 0.91, warm red/blue mids) -> colorbalance (teal-leaning shadows, warm mids and highlights) -> eq=saturation=0.8 -> Hald CLUT -> 64^3 .cube (sha256 9f7725eb...).
