How to make exercise demo video loops: step by step

  1. Lock the trainer and the studio with one character sheet
  2. One motion sheet per exercise: start and end pose, arrows, form cues
  3. Image-to-video with the same first and last frame; 2–3 moves per generation at most
  4. Have a coach check the form frame by frame
  5. Overlay reps, cues and the muscle map in code; batch-export loops and social cuts

What works now (researched 2026-10-27)

What spreads in fitness now is the exercise card: one consistent trainer (or a faceless mannequin in brand colors), one move, reps, two or three form cues and a muscle map drawn on top, then the app. The motion is driven by a pose or motion sheet into Seedance or Kling, not by text alone, and the tip is what people save, not the person.

  1. Lock the trainer before any motion: one character sheet, one outfit, one studio, reused for every exercise. If the face keeps drifting, go faceless; a mannequin with no face can't drift. The 'this fitness coach doesn't exist' breakdown (77,988 views, 1,505 bookmarks) locks a grey tee, dark joggers and lime wristbands on Day 0 with a Nano Banana Pro character sheet, then keeps the same face in every shot after that. (Archive on X, AI fitness coach workflow (Sep 2026))
  2. Drive motion with a motion sheet: start and end pose per exercise, arrows for the path, form cues under each panel; pass it with the trainer image as the motion reference. Keep 2-3 exercises per generation, one per loop is safest. Ege's dumbbell motion sheet into Seedance (99,378 views, 1,086 bookmarks): 4 exercises in 15 s works, but 2-3 gives the best consistency; a reply testing boxing found 3 strikes hold and 5 break apart. (Ege on X, workout motion sheet to Seedance (Apr 2026))
  3. For app loops, use the same frame as first and last frame, make the move cyclical (exactly one rep), lock camera and light, then trim on the rep boundary and watch three repeats for a seam. Seedance 2.5's guide: pass the same still as first and last frame, pick motion that is 'cyclical by nature' so the return reads as motion, not a rewind, and 'hold the camera and light constant, or the seam shows'. (Runware docs, Seedance 2.5 image-to-video guide)
  4. Draw reps, form cues, a green check for correct form and the muscle map on top in code, not inside the generated video. They stay sharp, editable and translatable, and each clip does one useful job. workit's mannequin video, as broken down by nolan: muscles light up in orange, a green check marks correct form, one-line caption; 402.9k likes and 274.4k saves on TikTok, so two of three likers saved it. The account (286.7k followers) runs on this one format. (nolan on X, breakdown of workit's TikTok format (Oct 2026))
  5. Know the store and channel rules: App Store previews may only show screen captures of the app, so show AI trainer loops there only as they appear in-app; on YouTube, vary moves and outcomes from video to video. Apple guideline 2.3.4: 'previews may only use video screen captures of the app itself.' YouTube's monetization policy rejects 'videos where characters are put in the same situation over and over again with the same outcome.' (Apple App Review Guidelines 2.3.4)

Motion sheet for 2-3 exercises (gpt_image_2_5)

The motion blueprint: start and end pose per exercise with arrows and form cues, made before any video so the model copies correct biomechanics. From Ege on X, dumbbell motion sheet prompt (GPT Image 2 into Seedance).

Monochrome grayscale technical illustration, biomechanically accurate fitness instruction sheet, clean 3D anatomical character, scientific diagram aesthetic, minimalistic, no artistic exaggeration.
{2x3} grid layout ({6} panels total), perfectly aligned cells, equal spacing, thin black borders, numbered 1 to {6}.
Neutral athletic human body, proportional anatomy, consistent character across all panels.
{WORKOUT} sequence (key positions only):
1. {EXERCISE_1} (start position)
2. {EXERCISE_1} ({END_POSITION})
3. {EXERCISE_2} (start)
4. {EXERCISE_2} ({END})
5. {EXERCISE_3} (start)
6. {EXERCISE_3} ({END})
Top-left: bold number + exercise name. Center: full-body pose, clear joint positions, {VIEW: side} view. Bottom-left: short technical explanation (2-3 lines, correct form cues). Overlay: directional arrows showing the movement path (up/down/arc).
Correct joint alignment, neutral spine, proper elbow and knee positioning, realistic weight distribution, no exaggerated motion.
Highly detailed grayscale shading, soft studio lighting, subtle shadows, clean linework, medical / sports science diagram quality.
Pure white background. No colors, no background environment, no extra elements, no stylization, no blur.

Seedance: the trainer follows the motion sheet, timed beats (seedance_2_5)

Image-to-video with two references: the motion sheet drives the move, the locked trainer image drives the look. 2-3 exercises per generation at most. Adapted from Ege on X, the Seedance prompt in the first reply.

Use @image1 (the motion sheet) as the exact motion blueprint. Use @image2 as the subject: {TRAINER}, {OUTFIT}, {STUDIO}. {Optional: reference @video1's action choreography, a phone clip of a real rep.}
The trainer performs the exact poses and transitions shown in the sheet, in the same order and timing. Preserve @image2's look exactly ({STYLE: photoreal / illustrated; do not convert to 3D}).
Style: {ultra realistic fitness video, natural light}. Camera: {full body, clean tripod, 50mm, static}. Background: {same as @image2}. Duration: {12-15} seconds.
0:00-0:02 READY: stands in the start pose of exercise 1.
0:02-0:06 {EXERCISE_1}: {start} to {end}, then back, controlled.
0:06-0:10 {EXERCISE_2}: {start} to {end}, then back.
0:10-0:14 {EXERCISE_3}: {start} to {end}, then back; ends in a settled stance.
Motion rules: strictly follow the reference poses; smooth transitions between key positions; controlled tempo, no fast reps; realistic {EQUIPMENT} physics; subtle muscle tension and breathing.
Negative: no exaggerated motion, no stylization change, no extra poses or reps, no extra characters, no text or counters in the video.

One-rep seamless loop (same first and last frame) (seedance_2_5)

The in-app loop: one rep that ends exactly where it began. Pass the same trainer still as first and last frame, then trim on the rep boundary and watch it three times for a seam. Adapted from Runware docs, Seedance 2.5 image-to-video guide (first/last frame, loops).

Begin and end on the exact same provided frame (@image1 as both first and last frame) so the clip loops seamlessly with no visible seam.
{TRAINER} performs exactly one rep of {EXERCISE}: from the start pose in the frame, {LOWERING_PHASE} over about {1.5} s, a brief hold at {END_POSITION}, then {RETURN_PHASE} back to the identical start pose, arriving still at {4} s.
One continuous cycle at an even tempo, so the return reads as motion, not a rewind. Exhale on the effort.
Camera locked off, {VIEW: side / three-quarter / front}, full body with margin, no zoom, no pan.
The lighting, floor, backdrop, outfit and framing stay perfectly constant throughout. Nothing accumulates: no sweat building, no props moving, no shadows changing.
Correct form: {CUE_1}, {CUE_2}, {CUE_3}.
No extra reps, no text, no counters, no camera shake, no change of face.

Trending formats to remake

To remake one: download the example with the media-download skill, take a frame a second and the transcript, write a beat list (time, shot, camera, on-screen text, sound), keep what the format needs, swap in the person's product or character (never the creator's face, voice, logo or footage), show the beat list and stills before spending, then make it with the skill named below.

  1. Exercise card short: One consistent coach, 2-3 numbered moves; each move gets its name, reps, form cues appearing one by one, a working-muscles map and a progress bar; ends on a 'do 3 rounds' line or the app. Why it spreads: It is a tip people save for the gym, and every scene can carry the app or a product. Archive's breakdown: 77,988 views, 1,505 bookmarks (2.0 per like). solotech's AI fitness account clip: 203,767 views, 3,246 bookmarks (1.9 per like). Keep: Keep one locked trainer in the same outfit every video, 2-3 numbered moves, and per move the name, reps, cues appearing one by one, a working-muscle map and a progress bar drawn in code, ending on 'do 3 rounds' or the app; swap the moves, the trainer and the product in the scene. Make it with Consistent Characters (varg-consistent-characters).
    • Example to remake: @ArchiveExplorer on X, 2026-09-27, 78K views, 2K saves: The full card: 'No gym? 3 moves', squats / push-ups / plank with 10 reps, cues one by one, working-muscles map, progress bar. Workflow shared: Nano Banana Pro sheet, Kling v3 motion, OmniHuman lip-sync, HyperFrames overlays via Claude Code. The '8M views' for the original is the author's claim.
    • Example to remake: @solotechdev on X, 2026-04-23, 204K views, 3K saves: The AI coach reel plays next to an income dashboard: 'Bicycle Crunches, 16 reps', 5 short cues, an ab diagram, then an end card for the app. Stack: Nano Banana 2, Kling 3.0, ElevenLabs, Claude, CapCut. Income figures are self-reported.
  2. Motion-sheet workout: Generate a pose sheet (start and end position per exercise, arrows, form cues), feed it with the trainer image to Seedance as the motion blueprint, and show the sheet under the clip. Why it spreads: The sheet fixes biomechanics that text prompts get wrong, and viewers save the prompt. Ege's dumbbell routine: 99,378 views, 1,086 bookmarks; the yoga version: 61,742 views, 694 bookmarks. Both share full prompts. Keep: Keep the grayscale pose sheet (start and end pose per move, arrows, form cues) as the motion blueprint plus a separate trainer image, 2-3 moves per 15 s, and show the sheet under the clip; swap the exercises and the character. Make it with Seedance 2.0 Prompt Guide (seedance-2-prompt-guide).
  3. Faceless mannequin rep loop: A faceless 3D mannequin in brand-colored gear does one move or combo on a plain background; a counter ticks with every rep or the worked muscles light up; 5-8 s, built to loop. Why it spreads: No face means no identity drift and the brand rides along in the outfit. workit's version: 402.9k likes and 274.4k saves on TikTok, 286.7k followers on one format (via nolan's breakdown). The best-known X breakdown is a 'reply for the prompt' bait post, so no X example qualifies yet. Keep: Keep a faceless grey mannequin in brand-color gear on a plain dark background, one move or a 3-strike combo, a counter or muscle glow drawn in code on every rep, 5-8 s that loops; say in the prompt it has no face at all, or the model invents one; swap the move and the brand color.
